After graduating from college in 1969, Bailey turned professional and embarked on a successful career on the LPGA Tour. In 1970, Bailey joined the LPGA's Executive Committee, where she advocated for equal prize money and better playing conditions for female golfers. She also established the Robbie Bailey Scholarship Fund to support promising young female golfers pursue their dreams.
