Sinclair's first victim was 10-year-old Eugene Hanvey, who was found dead in the city's Royal Botanical Garden. In the following years, Sinclair murdered three more boys, all between the ages of 8 and 12. His reign of terror ended in 1971 when he was finally apprehended and sentenced to life imprisonment.
